My purpose…
We live in an exceedingly strange age of strife and conflict. A time of latch-key children and neurotic, over worked parents. Of magnificent beauty and unfathomable horror. In spite of this all, I remain firm in my conviction that there is some deeper meaning and/or purpose.
Call it what you will- it matters not. We all succumb to the same fate. Some meet it by natural decay, others by accident or their own selfish hand.
I intend to be satisfied with myself when I finally face it.
'And I have felt A presence that disturbs me with the joy Of elevated thoughts; a sense sublime Of something far more deeply interfused, Whose dwelling is the light of setting suns, And the round ocean and the living air, And the blue sky, and in the mind of man; A motion and a spirit, that impels All thinking things, all objects of all thought, And rolls through all things.' Wordsworth- From "Tintern Abbey"
